Thank goodness the rest of the vegetable garden was a success, because this was it for the cucumbers! Not to worry though, as we are on our second crop of beans, and we can't keep up with the tomatoes - 3 bowls full tonight, and we'll likely get the same tomorrow for sure. The freezer is getting full. Can't wait for the leeks as they are almost ready, and so are the rest of the brussels sprouts. The second crop of peas and beans are in bloom, so it will remain to be seen if we get another harvest - depends on the weather and when the first frost comes.

Not the Crop We Hoped For
Thank goodness the rest of the vegetable garden was a success, because this was it for the cucumbers!
