I've always loved wildflowers. Dolly Parton's song called "Wildflowers", has a line that goes like this - ..WILD FLOWERS DON'T CARE WHERE THEY GROW... (I have a link to the song on this blog - so have a listen). I've always thought of myself as a wild flower; I'll put my roots anywhere. This blog is mostly about my "wild" garden, our pond, the birds and insects that visit, it`s about our animals, and our home projects.

Gravel, and More Gravel
Well last week we had 5 yards of gravel delivered, as you can see in the picture. There are about 4 yards left in this picture, as we have already used some for a drainage trench Chris put in at the back of the driveway. We still have to move all the remaining gravel to our special little "spoken-for" gravel spots - some for me and some for Chris. I already know I could do with a full body massage and a day at the spa after I finish shoveling!
