I've always loved wildflowers. Dolly Parton's song called "Wildflowers", has a line that goes like this - ..WILD FLOWERS DON'T CARE WHERE THEY GROW... (I have a link to the song on this blog - so have a listen). I've always thought of myself as a wild flower; I'll put my roots anywhere. This blog is mostly about my "wild" garden, our pond, the birds and insects that visit, it`s about our animals, and our home projects.

Spring Flowers in My Garden
Saturday morning, March 6th. Well, despite waking up in a dreadful mood, the sun was shining and it was a beautiful day. I went to the gym first off, then when I came home I took a little stroll through my garden in the morning sun. I captured these flowering photos -
top left is the amandi clematis still waiting to pop open, to its right the good old reliable perriwinkle; in the middle is the early blooming lenten rose; the jack frost is on the lower left, and finally my bleeding heart to its right!. Lovely way to start the morning! Click on the collage for better close up pictures.
