Yes! We Have Ignition!

You may recall from a previous post that my summer project was to build a new fire pit, which I did.  Well - today we put it to the test!  Our first burn of fall 2014.  The pit stood strong and sturdy and didnt' crumble.  Woo-hoo!!

For the last 3 years I have had a bonfire on my birthday.  Mid-November has been holding its own for me. We are a day early this time, but you have to go with the weather.  And besides, I am escaping for my birthday for a few days of solitude somewhere on the wild west coast.
